​Tannis is the Executive Director of the Research Support Unit of CHRIM as well as of the Innovation in Pediatric Clinical Trails network lead by Dr. Klassen.  In these roles she supports emerging research in pediatric medicine both in Manitoba and throughout Canada.  ​
